Harry Potter is sadly over and the huge franchise goes out with a thunderous boom. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows stars Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, the young wizard who with his friends Ron and Hermoine continue their quest to find the remaining parts of the Dark Lord’s soul.
The movie picks up right after Deathly Hallows Part 1 so you need to watch that movie a few hours before you see this one. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is very good and is very fast paced so you will never get bored. The movie is rated PG-13 for some sequences of intense action violence and frightening images . Warning: their is huge wizard battle at the end of the movie with a lot of deaths (only one death is seen on screen, the others you just see the bodies). But the end of the movie left fans cheering.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 is a great and amazing summer blockbuster. I think it wraps up the series very well while leaving the series open for some more movies and books in the future. If you haven’t seen all of the Harry Potter movies, you need to see at least the first (Harry Potter and the Sorcerors Stone), the sixth (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) and the seventh (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One) to really enjoy this movie. I also strongly recommend reading all of the Harry Potter books.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 gets an A+! The DVD will be released on November 11, 2011 and I definitely recommend buying it. If you don’t own the other Harry Potter movies, you can buy them as a complete set to save some money.
