The Adventures of Tintin : Secrets of the Unicorn Review

Posted in On DVD by - January 21, 2012

If you like silly adventure movies then Tintin is for you.  The Adventures of Tintin : Secrets of the Unicorn stars Jamie Bell as the voice of Tintin, Andy Serkis as the voice of Captian Haddock, Daniel Craig as the voice of Red Rekham, Simon Pegg as the voice of Thompson ,and Nick Frost as the voice of Thomson.

The Adventures of Tintin is about Tintin and Captian Haddock trying to find the secrets of a ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor. Meanwhile, Red Rekham is also trying to get the secret of the ship.

The Advenutres of Tintin : Secrets of the Unicorn is a silly adventure movie. It is very silly with Haddock being a complete drunk and going insane when he goes sober with silly, funny results. There also is adventure and action with flashbacks of Haddock’s ancestor and Reckham’s ancestor( voiced by the same voice actors Andy Serkis and Dainel Craig, respectively)  fighting for the treasure. Overall, it is silly and has action sequences that will keep older kids interested.

The Adventures of Tintin: Secrets of the Unicorn is rated PG for adventure action violence, some drunkenness and brief smoking. I give Tintin a B.
