If you like hilarious romantic spy comedies, then This Means War is for you. This Means War stars Chris Pine as FDR Foster, Chris Pine as Tuck, Reese Witherspoon as Lauren, Chelsea Handler as Trish, and Til Schweiger as Heinrich.
This Means War is about two CIA agents ( FDR Foster and Tuck) who discover they are dating the same woman ( Lauren). They decide to let her choose and not interfere. They then start waging ” war” using the CIA’s arsenal to try to ruin each others dates.
This Means War is hilarious and a great valentine’s day/ romantic movie. It successfully blends spy, action, comedy, and romance. That is normally hard to do but this movie successfully does it. The pranks that they pull on each other are hilarious and very well thought out. There are many and they all still hold up for the movies 2 hour runtime.
There are other jokes and they are also funny. Some of those jokes however, are raunchy and make the movie be a hard PG-13. All the jokes are funny though. The three action sequences are well done and are timed to be a break in all the romantic jokes. This movie was originally rated R due to some sexual content but then got appealed to be a PG-13. Some jokes are completly R jokes. Those jokes mostly happen when Trish ( Lauren’s best friend) is around, because the characters makes crude jokes. Overall, This Means War is hilarious and is a great movie.
This Means War is rated PG-13 for some sexual content including references, some violence and action, and for language. I give This Means War a spying A+!
