Valkyrie starts when Colonel Claus is at a camp that is attacked. During recovery, he realizes Hitler is bad for Germany. He joins up with a group of commanders and generals that think the same thing. They then start to plot Hitler’s assassination.
Valkyrie is a very exciting war movie. Even though you might know what happens, it does not matter. The movie is so well done that you still watch anyway. The layers of the plot are slowly revealed and it is a great thriller. It keeps you hooked for the whole movie and is very good. It is also very historical with many details not in textbooks. If you are studying WW2, then you might want to watch this movie because it could provide additional information about the time period and other countries and events outside the main battlefield. Overall, Valkyrie is a fast paced historical thriller.
