The Internship Review

The InternshipIf you like funny comedies then The Internship is for you. It stars Vince Vaughn as Billy and Owen Wilson as Nick.

The Internship is about 2 salesmen  ( Billy and Nick) who lose their jobs when their company shuts down. Billy then gets Nick and him interviews for an internship at Google. They are accepted and are invited to Google for the summer internship. They arrive and are put in groups for challenges to determine who gets the jobs at Google.

The Internship is a funny comedy. Vaughn and Wilson’s chemistry is alive as ever bouncing off of each other throughout the whole movie. It also bounces off of the other interns that they are paired with for their challenges. There are also funny jokes about the differences between them and the rest of their team with experiences and pop culture. Speaking of pop culture, there are many references and jokes to both 80’s and modern culture. They are not all spoiled in the trailer which is unsual and a welcome suprise. It is formulatic but that is the only real problem. Otherwise, it is a funny comedy. Overall, The Internship is a formulatic but funny comedy.

The Internship is rated PG-13 for sexuality, some crude humor, partying and language. That is an accurate rating with the team visiting a place that accounts for some of that rating. Overall, The Internship is a funny comedy. I give The Internship an interning B+.
