If you like Mel Brooks comedies and funny comedies then History of the World Part 1 is for you. History of the World Pt. 1 stars Mel Brooks in many roles covering 3 different time periods : Roman Empire, Spanish Inqusition, and the French Revolution. There also are 3 one minute pieces and a Stone Age piece that Mel Brooks is not in.
History of the World Pt.1 is very funny and keeps the laughs rolling through the time peroids. The Spanish Inquisition part has a hilarious musical number and the French Revolution has a real game of chess with living people in it. Those are just 2 examples of how History of the World Pt. 1 makes fun of and spoofs history movies.
History of the World Pt. 1 is rated R ( no specific reason, this movie was made before there were specific reasons). History of the World Pt. 1 gets an A+!
