If you like historical war movies, then Red Tails is for you.
Red Tails is about the story of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War 2 and their struggles to be accepted into the Air Force. It stars Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding Jr. as Air Force Officers.
Red Tails is a good historical drama that tells the story in an interesting way. It also includes very well done aerial combat sequences. There are many characters and they are all given their own individual personalities which keeps the movie from falling into the boring multiple character trap that some movies fall into. The aerial combat sequences are well done because the dogfights and other aerial situations are shown in a way that depicts each plane individually as well as the overall mission. The aerial combat sequences are also very exciting and the cinematography is very well done. The explosions are huge and very realistic which also helps to booster the aerial combat sequences. Overall, Red Tails is a good, historical drama.
Red Tails is rated PG-13 for some sequences of war violence. I give Red Tails a high flying A.
