The Adventures of Tintin : Secret of the Unicorn is coming to theaters on December 21, 2011. The Adventures of Tintin is animated and has the voices of Jamie Bell as Tintin, Andy Serkis as Captian Haddock, Dainel Craig (best known as the current James Bond 007) as Ivanovich Sakharine/Red Reckham and Simon Pegg as the Inspector.

Tintin  (a boy) and Captain Haddock have to try to find a ship that Haddocks ancestor commanded. The ship had a unicorn as its secret cargo.

Sherlock Holmes : A Game of Shadows is hitting theaters on Decemebr 16, 2011. This movie stars Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes, Jude Law as Dr. Watson and Jared Harris as Professor Moriarty the new adversary. Holmes and Watson must outwit Moriarty to save civilization as they know it and stop his web of  murders.

Based off the trailer, A Game of Shadows seems to have the same action and humor that made the first Sherlock Holmes movie from this cast a sucesss. It is directed by the same director as the 2009 Sherlock Holmes movie, Guy Ritchie.

If you like silly star filled comedies, then Tower Heist is for you. Like Margin Call, it has many big names: Ben Stiller as Josh Kovacks, Eddie Murphy as Slide, Casey Affleck as Charlie, Matthew Broderick as Chase Fitzhugh and Alan Alda as Arthur Shaw.

The story is Josh works at the tower and Arthur is the richest resident. Arthur gets charged with fraud and loosing all of his clients money. And he had been asked a year earlier to manage all the staff’s pensions. So the movie revolves around the staff  trying to get their money back.

There is going to be a 3rd Alvin and the Chipmunks. The new Alvin and the Chipmunks is called Alvin and the Chipmunks : Chipwrecked.

The plot is Dave,the chipmunks and the chipettes are taking a vacation on a cruise boat. They turn the boat into a playground and accidentally get off the cruise ship. Dave then comes to look for them on the small island.
