The Big Year review

The Big Year is a movie not many people had heard about until a couple of weeks before its release., when 20th Century Fox finally started marketing it. This resulted in a weak opening box office and a short run in theaters.  It is a shame because the movie is both funny and heartwarming.

If you are under 8, you will like this movie. For everyone else, it is way too long with far too many “smurf” jokes. And if your an adult, this movie will trash any fond memories you have of the little blue people. I left this movie very disappointed and feeling the color of the smurfs (sad and queasy) . Puss In Boots is coming to theaters on October 28,2011.

Puss In Boots stars Antonio Banderas as the voice of Puss , one of the stars of the Shrek movies. According to reliable sources, the story line includes muderous bandits who have gotten a powerful artifact that can destroy the world. Puss has to find them and defeat them to save the world. Puss In Boots is rated PG for some adventure action and mild rude humor.

Harry Potter is sadly over and the huge franchise goes out with a thunderous boom. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows stars  Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter,  the young wizard who with his friends Ron and Hermoine continue their quest to find the remaining parts of the Dark Lord’s soul.

The movie picks up right after Deathly Hallows Part 1 so you need to watch that movie a few hours before you see this one. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is very good and is very fast paced so you will never get bored. The movie is rated PG-13 for  some sequences …
